Hello everyone. I just wanted to open a thread because I found something interesting and I cannot find an answer on my own. We can easily find what flashware is compatible with a hardware (sw finder or *.etn* files). I will explain the problem from my experience. I replaced my ABS module and I needed to do initial setup of the donor. My car is with M272 engine and 4Matic. In the *.etnh file I could find that the donor hardware is compatible with my car by looking at the option codes (attached a screenshot). I searched the hardware number and the code options "M272" and "M005" (for 4matic) to looked for flashware. The filtered results only showed what is the hardware compatible with and not a specific flashware. Car also have code 213 which is also important and HW is compatible with it. Flashware list showed 8 different softwares that are compatible with this hardware. I didn't know which is the correct one for my car so I flashed the newest version. ESP threw fault code immediately:
"CAN Motorsteuergerat ist falsch codiert (bzw. Schnittstelle zur ME gestort)" which means ESP cannot understand CAN signals from engine and vica versa.
I started flashing random software and tweaking the variant coding until I finally got it without faults and fully functional.
My question is if there is a way to not waste time like I did and if there is a way to directly find what flashware and variant coding is needed for car's configuration and the hardware installed.
Hi all, having some issues with a 2020 volvo XC60,
long story brought the vehicle like this, when started got reduced transmission acceleration with EML on. when driven the abs, parking brake, TPMS all trigger, I could shift into D, but loud clunk and jerk and when in manual mode only seems to be in gear 3. can’t shift, sometimes feels as if the car is struggling to catch the gear and D and when selecting R it is engaging and disengaging,
Error codes are as follows, P061A62 Internal Control Module Torque Performance. Algorithm Based Failures. U010100
Lost Communication With Transmission Control Module.
P061B64 Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance. Algorithm Based Failures. P119F68 Reliability ECM Related Failure, Need To Be Repaired. Basic Calculation Failure
TCM-
Р060С68 Internal Control Module MainProcessor Performance. Algorithm Based Failures.
Since driving the car a little the shifter is not longer moving and only moves when using emergency release but vehicle does not detect anything. so is currently not starting as it’s not picking up P or N.
I’m assuming that it’s the TCM thats causing issues, if i order a used TCM can this be coded online anyway, would clone from the old one but unsure if it will be salvaged, willing to pay for diagnostic just need to be pointed in right direction on firmware needed, Any help will be appreciated,
I have such an airbag controller. There is a fault in it that I cannot communicate with it. Supposedly a very common issue in Fiat Punto, EVO, Fiat 500 controllers. Supposedly this fault occurs from a weak battery. Does anyone know about this topic and how to fix it?
I encountered a problem with a BMW E46 320D 110kw, the car does not pull until 2000 rpm, after that it goes like a bullet. The problem keeps throwing out the error 3FF0, I put another MAF sensor, I found out today that somehow the MAP sensor broke, so I'm putting a new one tomorrow. Is it possible that it is giving me an error for the MAF sensor, and that it is the MAP sensor? I read the values of the MAF sensor, the actual value and the default value do not match. The flaps on the intake manifold were removed a long time ago, but it ran normally without them.
Hello
I am wondering if my mini vci is broken. When I plug it into my laptop the led flashes red once, then green for a few seconds and then solid red. I believe once I plug it into the OBD connector in the vehicle with the ignition to on, it should power from the 12v and turn the led solid green? Is that correct and if it still stays red something is wrong with it?
Tim
Edit: It seems it was a problem with drivers as the led is now green but techstream still can't connect to the VIM. Now I have no idea what the problem is. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi! I had full working instalation deploy by win 10 PE and Acronics downloaded form MHH. Everything working great, but after few weeks i wanna connect to my benz and now xentry wont detect car. A request for VIN appears, which has never happened before. Even though I provide the number, it will not connect to the car.
I formatted the disk and installed the image with Acronics again but nothing changed. The car i try to connect is E5550 c207 from 2010.
Anyone can help me ? Is it possible that my OpenPort has failure ?
Hello everyone, some operations and adjustments have been made in the current version, please thank and send your credit first, then write your license code in the subject section...
Hi, I have a MB W212 coupe 2012 (C207) ECU Delphi CRD3.10 engine 651 I installed the instrument cluster from the facelift model. I had certain problems, I had to code the IC several times, after each coding I had to reset the DPF, the car has 185,000 KM and the ECU says 685,000 KM, then I realized that after each IC coding, the mileage in the ECU related to the DPF increased by 100,000 KM. I tried to reset it with Xentry, but I can only reset the current parameters, it is impossible to correct the mileage. Please if anyone has a solution I'm willing to pay, it's my own car. Thanks in advance.
I have here 2008 Volvo V50 2.0d, that has parasitic battery drain, when stationary and also very occasionally. I managed
to discover a pattern, that when I shut off the engine, remove key and wait about 1 minute in cabin a faint buzzing fan sound
in the centre radio/ac panel area should stop. Also a relay clicking sound from CEM module is heard.
When the small fan inside centre dash keeps buzzing longer, it means after couple days the battery is flat. Also, when I switch ignition on-off again and
wait for 1 minute or so, the CEM relay clicks and fan is finally shut off.
Fuses F43 and F66 inside CEM module are connected with this issue. When I pull them out, the parasitic battery drain is gone. I found a wiring
diagram, where F43 is powering Infotainment relay inside CEM. That soldered relay gives power to F66, that is supply for ICM(headunit).
I thought the problem is inside CEM, ordered another, cloned it, but the parastic drain continued with the other module.
No fault codes, most electric functions and options work.
I later discovered, that CEM, keyless and door modules can be accessed even with iginition off and key removed from slot. Is it normal for Volvo?
I don't want to add also some extra makeshift relay, to cut power for those fuses. It were nice, to find the real problem.
I have a problem with my NTG6. I purchased maps with a PIN code. The installation was successful, the PIN code was accepted. However, I cannot start the navigation, the license menu next to the navigation displays “Navigation: Deactivated”. Does anyone have a solution for this? Is flashing the NTG unit required?
How to limit the duration of migs from checkpoint? The car has 600 horsepower, and the shifts are not always perfect. Sometimes migs lasts 1 second. I think some kind of gradient or torque or rpm growth limiter
Here I have codings for control units before and after ODIS SVM official activation.
You can try to use it for manual CCS activation for this model...maybe others?
Tell how it works
first row is coding before activation, second row is after odis SVM coding and activation of CSS and "sleep detection"
