Seems like my friend damaged ECU during opening process, I have found another one for him for good price but I am mostly playing with VW stuff and original neurosuite.
So I am not aware about any tool which can do IMMO off for that ECU.
Any way how to kill it ? problem is that there is big distance (cross countries) so solution must be 100% working when I send him ECU.

BTW, is there any chance that his china KTAG was not reading full file and ECU is just corrupted by wrong reading/writing ? we are like slave users using tools and tunning companies, not OLS expert.
I think he damaged ECU as now with backup in he has same error like with mod, short on fuel pump, short on tva, no sync with key..... car cranks but no start.
Hello guys. a few weeks ago i had a problem at my skoda octavia 2019 2.0 engine diesel , with the heating. the heating core was pluged and had to be replaced. i took the car to a service and they flushed the sistem with a special machine and replaced the heating core. after that inside the car when i turn the heating on i can hear like bubbles of air and antifreezer . so i went back to the service and they said that the heating core is pluged again and they replaced again on their expense. after that the sound didnt dissapear. i replaced alse the coolant tank with a original one. now they said that the after market core is not circulating the water right inside and i bought an original one and they will flush the sistem again and replace it again.
i did 2 times the air bleeding procedure with vag. i drove around 600 km with the car and the sound is still present. when i tighten the hose that goes from the fire wall engine bay to the dashbord i can feel bubbles of air. what can cause air to enter the cooling sistem. i havce no leaks. the sound was not there before replacing the heating core.i attached a photo the pipe that is highlined is the entrance or the exit of the coolant ?
because if it is the entrance in the heating core the air comes from somewhere else.

Hey, I own the following car: Skoda Octavia RS 2019 5E 2.0TDI 184hp, bought the car already with EGR off, Adblue off and Stage1 Tuning. Now I want to sell the car, but with original software -> EGR on, Adblue on, no Tuning- 04L907309P ECU. Can someone please help me getting the original software? Very weird problem with reverse lights in Audi A4 2005, automat. Doesn't work when engaging R. Can trigger however when testing from diagnostic in J519, so electronically all OK.
All other lights are fine in the car.
Going through live data, I see it doesn't send CAN message when R engaged.

I ended up buying used ECU with same numbers to have full read, copied flash read JTAG from used to old ecu, but still dont start

Hello I need help identifying this type of continental ford pcm. Donor is from a 2016 explorer. I programmed it to a 2017 Taurus but I am unable to do a parameter reset since the Taurus is a police vehicle and has no Pats. I tried deleting pats using HP tuners but it did not work. Now i need help identifying the type of pcm so I can try to read and request an Immo off solution. I believe it’s a TC1797 inside. Original PCM is not available to clone.

i was messing with an old MPVI1 HPT cable with my USBDM and i accidently mass erased the cable. of course they had it locked and it wouldnt read the flash or eeprom in it. anyhow is there any way possible to get a working firmware back on the cable again to make it work? its so dead even device manager doesnt recognize the cable anymore.
Ive tried downloading whatever packs i could find on this site but none seem to have the correct DAMOS for a regular mini cooper i've tried running 2 so far one was for a newer f series and would not open in WINOLS saying version of file too new and the other mini file pulled up a bunch of audi maps when loading into winols. Any help greatly appreciated thanks!

I have the problem that when I want to flash a speedometer from base to AMG, I never know which software I need.
Therefore, I would like to ask you how you do it and how to find the right flash file. A detailed guide would be very helpful.

I am interested in getting into to tuning cars. I am primarily interested in emission control systems and would like to be able to turn off EGR + DPF + SCR and Flaps for customers. I might do performance maps too, but they would be outsourced.
I have a background in computer science having previously worked as a software engineer. So I am reasonably comfortable working within HEX and understand the concept of 3 axis graphs etc. So, with that I am interested in learning the process to map out emission systems etc. I have a couple of cars myself that I can practice on.
I've done quite a bit of research but I'm still none the wiser on what I should purchase to start out. I do understand that a seasoned pro who wants to cover a wide variety of makes + years will need an equally wide array of tools... but starting out what should a person buy first?
Starting out I would be happy to cover only german brands from old to reasonably new. So, Mercedes, BMW, VAG mainly. Up to say mid 2010s.
What tools would you recommend to cover these?
After some research I am thinking PCMFlash + SM3 and then KT200. Ideally I would avoid clones of anything, but I believe KT200 is not bad..
What clones are best avoided and are there any other ones which aren't bad?
I am trying to test an ECU, EIS, and ESM on bench. I have the Weixy MB platform hooked up to the EIS and ECU, no problem. I tried daisy chaining my GODIAG breakout box to the MB platform and using the banana clips and jumper cables to connect to the ESM. I connected to the 8-pin connector on the ESM as follows: 3 K-line, 5 PWR, 6 CAN-H, 7 CAN-L, 8 GND. But there is no communication with the ESM. My understanding of CAN networks is primitive so I assume I'm doing something wrong here. How can I hook this up so I can check drive auth on bench?
