I'm looking for a remote tuning solution similar to Frieling Racing’s setup. Earlier today, I saw someone in Europe offering a cloned version of AutoTuner where they mail out a Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 device to flash the ECU. Is there a system like this available for purchase?
I have Mercedes S550 2008 W221 Suddenly the Fob key not functioning. Car with normal EIS not key less go and works fine just lock and unlock not working. I tried with spare key same issue. Both keys has new battery. Any advice to solve this issue ?
I would love to have some help regarding replacing a faulty ECU on a 2004 BMW E53 X53 3.0 218PS. The ECU is EDC16C31. My plan was to simply clone the original ECU using KTAG onto a donor ECU from same car/engine/transmission and also same BMW Partnumber.
I now have 3 ecus:
#1: Original ECU.
#2: Donor ECU
#3: Donor ECU
I was able to read MICRO and EEPROM but get checksum error when reading EXTFLASH. I am positive the BDM ports are connected properly. I have tried both soldered wires and BDM rig to ensure proper connection.
I have tried manual read and full backup in KTAG 2.3, KTAG 2.5 and KTAG 2.8. All give same result. The EXTFLASH file is a bit smaller when reading this ECU compared to ECU #2 (donor) and ECU #3 (donor). I only get 223kb from ECU #1 while it is 1024kb from both ECU #2 and #3. This is probably a result of the checksum error when reading in KTAG. I have no problem writing backup from ECU #2 to ECU #3 and vice versa but this will not work since the EWS fault code shows in ISTA an the car will not start (cranks - no start).
I have tried to only flash original EPROM and MICRO from ECU #1 onto ECU #2 and #3 (EXTFLASH from their donor car). This does not work - only crank no start. Also the VIN of the ECU shows up as the donor car in ISTA+. I thought the VIN/ISN was stored in EEPROM and therefore hoped it was enough to flash only EEPROM and MICRO since I do not have a complete read of ECU #1 EXTFLASH.
I have tried to write the complete backup of ECU #1 to ECU #2 and #3 but this caused the ECU to be unresponsive in the car - ISTA+ unable to connect.
Would it be possible to do anything with the EXTFLASH file from ECU #2 or #3 to make it work with the EEPROM and MICRO from ECU #1?

Ktag read files attached. Donor files do not have checksum error.
Hello can someone help me to do checksum for this file?

I'm looking for a bit of assistance on understanding how to adjust fuelling, I'm looking to produce more fuel and to produce more black smoke.
I have only really started and I have picked up the basics I just need help understanding what kind of adjustments I need to make using EDC15 to make my request happen.
My BCM in my Ford Transit Custom MK8 2018 got damaged from spilled coffe.
I bought a used BCM with same part number and saved the BCM settings with Forscan.
When I plugged in the new BCM and tried to load up the old BCM settings I got error in Forscan when I tried to write it. Then I noticed all type of programming was not working with the new BCM. Service procedure has been interupted fault codes every time.
Then I tried program the new BCM with my Autel Ultra and it completed add new BCM function successful. After that I went back to Forscan and now the programming functions started to work.
So I write in old BCM settings and did the PATS programming with two new keys also successful.
So the remote on the key works but no engine start and fault code in PCM P161A. No other fault codes in all modules.
I am out of ideas, can someone help me out to start my car?
Hello guys,
I'm experiencing a very strange error with my dad's Lexus LS600h. The rear right suspension is stuck on the high position and the ride is extremely hard. Toggling between hight high and normal doesn't change anything. I've already changed the rear right height sensor but this didn't help. In the mean time I got my hands on Techstream and I got to see the suspension parameters. There are no errors shown. Using the tester, I got to lower all the 4 corners using the active tests, all seem to be working fine. But when I get out of test mode, the suspension goes back to the wrong position. I'll leave some screenshots with the before and after the test mode. Any advise is helpful.
