How to increase torque by advancing timing
I have searched and read about this ,and have tried a few things on my own car. I replaced all the values marked with a "-" with 0 in the main injection 1 and Mi1 with pil1 and pil2 maps.
How safe and reasonable is it to modify these ignition tables like this? I don't have the ability to measure cylinder pressure.
How much earlier can the ignition timing be set safely?
I've also read that pilot 2 and 3 should be disabled
And that the time between pilot 1 and main injection should be reduced.
What should be done with post-injections? Disable them.
DPF and EGR are off, and the car already has stage 2 tuning.
However, I would like to continue with my tuning, to get more torque.
I will also put my file and log. Log is made 4 gear.
Maybe someone more experienced would be willing to help and teach me a bit.
Currently, I am still logging with VCDS, but I plan to start using VehiCAL logger in the near future.

Currently been trying to remap this r56 mini for the past month trying to learn how to tune and its been just as irritating as expected with how nothing ever communicates or functions like it suppose too. I believe I got the ecu file extracted successfully with a clone kess v2 with errors of course. Now just trying to figure out how to edit the thing which turns out to be even harder then extracting it! So far ecm titanium just will not work its just extremely broken atleast the copy I have. No YouTube video I followed works the driver thing never detects and if I manually select every option I can that should work nothing ever populated! I managed to get winols to spit out what looks like maps but it they are all potential maps with zero labeling so I have no idea what's what. I'm literally just trying to get the target engine temperature down to 180-190ish instead of 210. The kess would not create a successful ID file its missing half the info. What does it take to just get something that will work that's not a bunch of confusing messed up broken software. I tried originally on windows 11 now on windows 7 same bs with a few less errors. Don't even get me started on INPA and ISTA I just said to hell with those and bought a launch it gets me by 95% without the senseless software issues from this out of date crap. Sorry I'm just very frustrated I see why people pay big money to have this done😂. I can figure out the technical crap its just getting this awful software to work correctly is always my problem on automotive computer stuff. I tried uploading photos but this site won't accept anything with a better resolution. Thanks if anyone is able to help with my broken computer lol.
In a previous thread I explained how I needed to build an eeprom file for a donor ME2.8.1 using the original vehicle's EIS. This is because I offer a mail-in service and the original ECU was stolen. I was able to build the file with the key data and special key in the correct locations, but I am not sure what to do about the transport key. Can I keep the donor transport key how it is? There is no way for me to find the original transport key as it is gone with the original ECU.

Hi, had a 2009 avensis in today just for rear pads. Both calipers wound back OK. When being it off the lift the yellow parking brake light was on. Had 2 faults in it C1336 and C1346. Tried adaptions with a launch diagnostic and otofox d1 pro. Neither would reset it. Then tried techstream v17 it would no communicate with the parking brake control unit at all, but the otofix will no problem.
Also tried to do the basic setting by bridging the 2 pins on the diagnostic port neither would work.
My old ABS unit is destroyed so i can not get the old coding from it,
I have only VCDS available right now to input the coding in the new unit (no online coding available)
Is someone here able to help? I'm willing to pay for the service as i Know this is unusual (Bitcoin or crypto of choice)
Hi ,I have a kia sportage ,owner lost the key ,locksmith tried to do key but was not possible and ecm lost comm. forever ,so we need to know what proceed to do for installing a used ecm ?
or if anybody knows what is the complete kit I need to buy for starting .(I mean ecm,immo module, key,etc).
I hope somebody could help the car is about 3 months since the key lost.

Hi all, we paid for the 24 hour SDD Topix subscription to work on a car however the JLR Mongoose Pro Clone was unable to read all the modules to allow for KVM programming.
Any suggestions on a pass through cable that works other than going genuine?...I am tryin to read the RFA module however cannot do it. I have pulled fuse 57 and attempted that recommendation, but no success.
I try to resolve the error 01130 and I was advised to downgrade the ABS software.
The current software is 1K0907379BD version 0108, could you please share the appropriate sgo file or an older version ?
anyone knows if the upshift/downshift direction of the stick shift is in the shifter or in the software?
If it's in the shifter then changing the shift box to another type would change the direction of shifting. Now the upshift in the Cayman 981 is forward which is not vert sporty, and the next generation Cayman has it the 'right' way and the shifter box seems physically identical.
If it's in the software can anyone change the shift direction?
