I would like to reverse engineer the firmware to get a deeper understanding of how the checksum of some CanFD-messages is calculated.
i've recently acquired a mappack+orig bin for a MED17.9.3 10th gen honda civic 1.0 vtec.
now, (as a OLS beginner, and hobbyist), i'm trying to transfer the maps over to my personal ECU (with winols demo), but failing miserably on some of the maps.
Could anyone with some more knowledge and winols expertise help me out?

i tried to add key with OBDSTAR X300 DP to Renault Megane 4 2016 , first read Dflash then pop-up failed to get PinCode, now the HFM is virgin no pincode, does someone have a solution?
Hello, I have a BMC with cummins engine & I get the following DTC:
329 SID:233 FMI:14
Also, the bus loses power-pulls back after some Km.. I've checked & cleaned the injectors, checked the common rail, changed fuel filter & air filter (also tested with or without)..
Has anyone ever come across this problem? Any idea on what the problem might be?
I do not know the history of this car, it came to me with an error in the ABS control module U101400. I did the ABS module coding using odis online and also the power steering module coding. Unfortunately, the error remained despite the successful completion of online coding. Has anyone encountered this problem? I do not know where to look further to find the problem

Why does the vauxcom multi software brick a cable after updating the firmware? I had a genuine pic18f458 chip etc and was able to update via ocflash to ANY version but as soon as I updated via vauxcom software (iirc to 1.45),cable was bricked?
Hello, this days I had a big search about this errors on F-150 2018 3.3.
If can help a someone will be fine.
That errors comes from lost comunication between SRS, BCM and ECU modules, this is one cable communication line 5V triangle impulse will add photo. The communication starts from SRS and if BCM and ECU doesn't get it's messages shows this errors.
My solution was codding of SRS, there is three notification messages parts, that was disabled, I don't know why. If notifications are disabled there is no signal only 12v and DTCs.

Im using protocol 2022 with Kess 3 to read and write this T87A TCU. However when trying to write the modified unlock file i get a "transferring data error" after it writes 11% of the file. The protocol is technically a bench protocol but uses CNF1, Can L&H amd a jumper between two pins.
Anyone used Kess3 to unlock or have any pointers or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I need to clone a customer's R230 EIS with dual 1J35D MCU. First I tried using CGMB by erasing the donor and writing the original .bin that I collected using VVDI Prog. I was able to erase the donor but it failed to write the original data.
So then I used VVDI Prog to write the original .bin to the donor. Here is where things get strange. Now I read the donor in CGMB and it says all 0s for the SSIDs, all FFs for the key data, says it's a dealer EIS. But when I read it again using VVDI, and open that file in CGDI, it all appears normal, with the correct original data. When I try to create a key with the original data it does not turn in the donor EIS.

I have a Kess3 and Ecm Titanium, and it looks like I should have done more research before purchase! I viewed a thread a few days ago and a gentleman mentioned using Boot Patch v1.0. I can't find that anywhere. Anyone know anything about it?

From what I found out, when replacing it, I will have to replace the pins in the quadcore cube to make the idrive knob work.
