I changed the firmware to v4.50 but diagbox returns it to v4.40

My alarm keeps going off intermittently in the night sometimes, I've checked with xentry and have a couple of error codes u110d87 : communication with the alarm siren has a malfunction: the message is missing, this is a current and stored code, the second dtc is stored only and code b217E11 right front door, the power supply to the LIN bus subscribers has a malfunction, there is a short circuit to ground. Has anyone else had any of these issues?

So I'm trying to get something working on a Rifter Taxi van 2020.
I've spent all day buying different ORI files from Dimsport but I can't see the bosch SW variant until I buy them and it's getting old paying for files that are no use to me.
I need files that are close to my SW variant of 10SW089717 I found ECUs with HW 9826975080 and SW 9826975080 and then the SW upgrade starting 9695 are closest.
HW 9826975080 SW 9826975080 SW upgrade 9695714280 Bosch number 10SW089717 is the closest one for me but it's from an auto and the gear ratios are wrong.
Long story short I need software with the right gear ratios for the van, but there are no originals for a Rifter taxi or anything similar it's mainly for the cars.
I have 10SW088604 but then permanent ESP fault because it seems to use a different ESP computer, but on the other SW I don't get that fault but the wrong gear ratios.

I’m at a loss. I have tried multiple ways to get this multiplexer to see ignition on. I have a 9/90 R129 with the older 16 pin diagnosis port. I am using the pin cable for my C4. I have red in port 16, black in port one and the white in port 3 for diagnosis. When I go to do a short test it keeps telling me to turn the ignition on, which it is. I have also tried to add additional 12v to pin 16 with no avail. Here are some pictures as well. What am I doing wrong??
In short:
Car had a FEM breakdown.
While at shop the car was burglarized and the cluster stolen.
BMW installed new cluster and new FEM.
Car starts and everything works...
But mileage is 0.
I have im608, hextag, some eeprom programmers and so on..
Is it easiest to adjust mileage in kombi or fem?
I believe that since the kombi is new from factory it will have the newer eeprom that cant be adjusted.
I can read the eeprom from the old fem with autel.
IS it possible to just read the old eeprom, modify and write it in the new fem?
