vw touran 2008 changed gearbox, old gearbox dsg 7 speed, changed to 6 speed gearbox from skoda octavia 2008 the engine is 1.9 tdi i want to make sure if the new gearbox is suitable for the car because it makes noises while driving and take longer to connect to the new speed ecu SW : 0G3906021PF tcu HW : 02E927770AE tcu SW: 02E300043E
is there a way to solve the problem with another TCU or ECU software, or gearbox needed to be changed?

Hello, does anyone have an XDF file for a Bosch M3.3 484 ECU? I have a BMW e38 740i with an engine swap from an Alpina B10V8 and my eeprom is causing problems.
I could not find a solid answer anywhere about this.
If newer than 2020/6 bosch md1 type ecus are so called bench protected, are there tools that can write these newer ecu's in OBD?
Mainly interested in BMW.
Or still only through femto?

Can somebody help me turn off seat occupancy detector in BMW F31.
Parameter 'CIS_Beifahrer' was already 'nicht active' and seat occupancy detector is disconected. DTC 930B8F 'Front passenger's seat occupancy detector Open Circuit' is active.
Problem was solved, in my post 3 you will find more info. In short Im recommending these steps:
1. Check if your cluster have OK sound (beeping, FCW, turn signal...) and also all light indicators on cluster. If you will find problem, need to solve it first (old clusters have often problems with speaker). 2. Clear DTC with ODIS-E (first switch virtual cluster into developer model, more info in post 3). Maybe also VCP can switch in developer mode, Im not sure. 3. If DTC will come back again, update firmware of your virtual cluster, and then repeat clearing DTC in developer mode. Update you can do with OBD (ODIS / VCP?) or USB stick and red menu (in Q8 need press 2 fingers on right top corner of screen for activating this menu... another cars I dont know). I cant help you with update file, my file have found with help of people from Audi. 4. If DTC will come back again, remove cluster from car, and try to search electrical error. After problem solve (cracked soldering points, reheating MCU? I dont know) clear DTC in developer mode and test again.

I was asked to solve error B200049 in Virtual Cockpit 4K0920790E, dataset 4N1909525B produced 12/2020, Audi Q8. Dash works (also speaker), but some MILs are on (ABS, steering wheel, airbag). Official TPI request to replace cluster produced before 1.7.2021, but I have received few offers for "remote repair" via VCP or ODIS, with very different prices. This way dont looks serious to me, I think its only reflash with some software.
Can someone explain point how reflashing SW will permanently solve this Virtual Cluster problem? Maybe is used different / modified software... I know this permanent DTC can be cleared after reflashing, but if its HW related, soon will be back again. Also I can prepare remote connection with VCP / VAS5054, or pay for correct flash file.
Repair offers are welcome (also in PM), but please only if you know what causes this problem and what are you doing.
