Hello im trying to virtual read my bmw f31 2016 320d with the MPPK and i get this error message. Is it becuse of the MPPK kit or i need to update ECU to read? Pls help
I got an little Problem. At the moment I am doing an engine swap on an Allroad 2008 from 3.0TDI ASB Manual Trans to 2.0 CAHA (2010 Facelift) Manual Trans. I got also some trouble changing ECU and adapting MAC/CS/Pin from old (EDC16) to new(EDC17) ECU. When I tried to adapt ABS/ESP via ODIS for 2.0TDI it had an error (maybe 2.0TDI is not avaiable in Allroad Firmware). I then thought it would be a wise decision to flash a different firmware via Odis-E. Stock Firmware is 4F0910517AB and I tried to flash the only version I had which is 4F0910517AL. Flash worked until 100% but then there was an error. I still can communicate with ABS Ecu and also can reflash in ODIS but cant code or read Troublecodes. ECU ID in Odis is now 4F0910517AL but in VCDS Identification is empty, also Coding is empty on ECU now.
Maybe someone can help me or has some kind of fitting firmware for me , sgo file would be the easiest fix ? I didnt open ECU yet, but maybe there is an EEPROM or MCU which I can flash with external flasher ?

Hello everyone if anyone can share some insight. Have a client car 2014 Maserati Ghibli with a crank no start issue. I have the option to swap complete immo set ECU, KEY, BCM and RF HUB however VIN will be incorrect I have done this before and I know it will work however, I think if there is another solution like IMMO delete or find out why ECU thinks the Key is invalid and solve that problem. That way it will maintain the correct vin and be less work overall. Prefer not to do IMMO delete and just fix the issue. Is it maybe just RFH needs to be synchronized with the ECM?
Strange thing is the car sees the vehicle keys: locks, unlocks, ignition comes on. If I move keys away from vehicle shows keys not detected message. I've already tried to add and delete all keys.

Still no change same fault code.
Tomorrow I will inspect the RF Hub too see if its been tampered with but all looks good from the outside.
The strange thing is ignition comes on key locks and unlocks the vehicle cranks but not sending fuel command
