Hi
i own Berlingo 2003 with 1.4L engine TU3JP 75HP.
I want to swap engine to 1.6L TU5JP4 109HP with BOSCH ME744 ECU.

Both are available for the car so its an easy swap.

But after i swap ECU do i need to IMMO OFF the BSI also? The keys and BSI dont change, only ECU swap.
i can IMMO OFF the ECU (Bosch ME744 i have done before on NON-CAN bus car) but i have no experience in unlocking BSI and this Berlingo has CAN BUS from ECU to BSI to Dashboard.

I do have Cit/Pug tools Lexia Proxia or whatever its called, maybe they can help?

Hello together,

i have here a BMW X1 2009 E84 18i with Bosch MEV17.2.1
I need to replace the Ecu to a new one, and also have second Ecu which should work (regarding to BMW partscataloge).

I've made Full Backup for both Ecus, but can't find any solution to Clone the Ecu (regarding the OTP section).
Can someone help me to Edit the Flash to clone the Ecu or help to Virginize?
Is there any solution for it?

Could someone please hep me perform coding in Vediamo… to change transmission shift program mode default setting. 

I have 2012 Mercedes-Benz SL550… 230.471…  722.904... 7 speed transmission. It defaults to C mode every time engine is re-started. I would like to change that to Last Mode Remember or Sport. 

I never used Vediamo before. I’ve read most of the 239 page manual. This looks like a tool with pretty steep learning curve.

I’m usually pretty good at playing around with new software and learning as I go. This one is scaring me a bit though, because I understand the possible consequences and the interface is not very intuitive.

Hi have proiblem with this function in this car.
On dash prompt "active corner lighting inactive"
headlamps was changed after accident.
I think that they are without this function because when i try test it by diag notthing happend.
So i would like disable this by coding and i code lamps without this functions and actuators but no luck , prompts is still on dash.
In dash menu i have no function to on/offf

Any other module must be recoded?

I tried finding an answer on the forum and I apologize if the question I have has been answered already. To my knowledge once a 2009 Hyundai ECU has been programmed to a vin it's not possible to change it via bi directional scanners even tho the option is there. I'm assuming you could enter a new vin on a new ECU, but not used. Is it possible with a j2534 device and software? Does anyone know how I might be able to change the vin of an used ECU? I currently have a 2009 Sonata that has nothing wrong except the ECU vin does not match the vehicle. Any advice is greatly appreciated 👍🙂

Hi,

has anyone ever stumbled into this error      ? I have just retrofitted blind spot assist to a Golf MK7 Facelift, yet the left control unit is not shown as subsystem in odis (it gives me this error while reading subsystems on control module 3C) and moreover it is directly unaccessible (even identification do not work on module CF)

I checked the wiring everything seems to be ok, I was able to update successfully firmware + dataset of right control module (3C from 0071 to 0081), whereas left one (CF) is still 0071. In fact I do have this error in DTC memory:

C1190F6 ($41300 / 267008) Blind spot recognition ctrl. module 2 incorrect version installed
DTC text: Control unit - false SW
     DTC status
         0     passive/sporadic
         1     <not supported>
         2     <not supported>
         3     Not confirmed
         4     Not tested since erasing DTC memory
         5     <not supported>
         6     <not supported>
         7    No warning display on
         ERRORSTATE   sporadic
         DTC_MASK   $10


Following this TSB  I tried with Odis Service to update with Special Functions -> Adapting Software (offline) [I have the firmware file so I wanted to try offline without paying Geko access for now], passed CF as control unit address (I have the doubt if I need to pass instead the node id 8A), prompted for the login code, entered 20103 --> always invalid code.

The dumped control module list is attached     

So I am wondering: has anyone had a problem with Left Lane Change Assist control module not being shown ?

I've got a customer who's imported a JDM Honda fit, obviously the cluster is in Japanese a km/h, we need English and MPH. 

There's no language or unit options available in the cluster. what's the process for this, is there a VCDS like program for honda? 

I've been looking at I-hds, but most info suggests it can just read codes and update ecus. the customer has bought a local cluster in English but that obviously has its own issues with option coding. 

obviously willing to pay for a solution if it works.
