Hey, i have a 3G0.920.798.A AID dash from Passat B8, i need to read the eeprom dump to get the pin to make a key. I’ve bought this car with only one key. I’m quite new to dashboards. I have revelprog programmer, my friend has Autel MaxiIM, which wasn’t able to read the dump via obd. Could anyone help me with how to read eeprom?

I made an update for steering for my Audi with part number 3Q0909144M and chose the wrong software as I was on time pressure to 3Q0909144YT. Now steering is hard and can’t install back the old steering software.

Auction car, had minor rear accident. Powers on complains about egear shifts upto 3rd gear. But main problem is, you turn key to start position, you hear what sounds like 1 large clunk(starter solenoid i assume) and nothing else happens. When you take key out you hear a long beep.

It's the same problem with both remote controls. Is there anyone on the forum who is familiar with Volvo's system. Which receiver module has to do with the signal from the remote control itself? Now I'm not thinking about the module for keyless, which is the KVM module itself. There are 2 more modules. TRX/LRX. Which of these amplifies the 868 MHz signal. When you press the remote control to open and close the car. I have change the battery and test the remote with a remote tester and both remote works.[/color]
Hi folks,
I opened a Bosch MEVD17.2.6 dme from bmw335i and found a loose diode, literally, came off the pads. I am not 100% sure where it goes. There are 3 other sets of pads and the set closest to the other diodes looks as if there has been solder on those pads before and then the furthest away pads last set on the right look like they have also had solder on them ( though not so much as the first set of pads ) and the middle pads have had maybe a smidgen of solder, maybe from the flow process at the factory though not sure. The DME has been opened before so i am not the first person to have looked inside. I will send some pics. Thanks very much for any help.
