I just replaced the JX1. After install, I need to perform Adaptation of JX1 to immobilizer.
I have VCDS from Ross Tech, but i cannot access the adaptation function without the access codes??
I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I’ve been struggling to locate datasheets with **pinout details for the Bosch 30591 IC** (used in the EDC16C39 ECU). Despite thorough searches online, I’ve hit a dead end. Has anyone here managed to source these schematics or have advice on where to look?
To add context: My EDC16C39 ECU refuses to wake up. I’ve tried troubleshooting with FGTech Kess, K-Tag, and other tools, but no luck so far. A clear pinout for the 30591 IC might help me trace the issue further.
If you’ve dealt with similar ECU wake-up problems or know of alternative resources (Bosch technical portals, repair manuals, etc.), I’d greatly appreciate any guidance. Even tips on reverse-engineering or third-party databases would be helpful!

Hey anyone had a problem where w213 2019 ntg 5.5 headunit wouldnt turn on ? Client was polishing/swapped over the centre tunnel buttons and since then the headunit won't turn on, for a second the a/c lower panel shows then gone, his centre tunnel buttons dont light up and when testing display via xentry it will fire up the mercedes logo and normally show the media screen then go into diagnosis.
Checked mf2 fuse but that was fine as well as fuse 317 in front passenger footwell fuse box.
Errors present are: u118587 for audio or command communication with the control panel headunit has a malfunction
backup camera u142686 implausible data were recieved from the control panel headunit
esp u1155ff communication with the lower control panel has a malfunction
ptcu drive train u014787 communication with the control unti headunit has a malfunction
Edit: found further complication which is no power to usb ports in arm rest, would that be a different fuse ?

there is no movement form the turbo actuator arm at any point (ignition , engine on , engine off )
the turbo actuator wiring is the attached image at the bottom.
am i correct in thinking (with the plug still connected to the acctuator)
pin 1 ) tca+ white = 12v+ ignition on,engine on
pin 2 ) tca- blue = earth
pin 3 ) sigrtn grey = earth
pin 4 ) tca viloet&brown = 5v
pin 5) vref yellow = 0.2v rising to 5v when accelertor depressed

I’m planning to rebuild my Audi A6 C5 with the 2.5 TDI AKE engine to around Stage 2 power levels (maybe around 250hp?). I want to make sure my engine stays reliable and lasts a long time, but I also want to get a decent bump in power. If I want to rebuild the engine, what parts should I change? I’m thinking of bearings, seals, pistons, connecting rods, head gasket, oil pump, springs, injectors, etc. I'm thinking on a BAU head, but I'm not sure that if it's a direct bolt-on or not.
And what about the injection pump? Is it gonna handle that much fuel?
I'm having trouble starting EPC and WIS from EWAnet. The EWA installation went smoothly with no issues—the database installed correctly, and the authorization key was accepted. I've successfully set this up before on a different laptop without any problems, but this time, it’s not working.
The system is running Windows 10 Pro with the latest version of Java installed. I suspect Java might be the issue. When I click the EPC or WIS buttons, instead of launching the program, a window appears indicating that startApp.jnlp has been downloaded to my Downloads folder (see attached photo). Then, an error message appears: "Unable to load resource..." (see next photo).
I’ve searched online for a solution but haven’t found anything helpful. Has anyone encountered this before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
