Hi after many many hours i have finaly brought a friends car back to life after he tried Flashing every module in his car with a Launch X431 long story short didnt go well, have now manage to get the car started and the gearbox to work and all other Ecu s up and runing but the last problem i have now is that its in limp mode revs to 3000 rpm when driving without any DTC"s
After locking around in every corner of the cars moduels i found out that the Crd3 is not initialized activated or personalized, but the car starts so was not the first ting i was locking for.
so my big Question is if anyone have a sugestion to get it Initialized ? with Vediamo or dts monaco ? if its even possible ?
or is it just reading it with a kess or somthing and make a Immo off ?
after close to 100 hours on this car to even get it to run again i am starting to get alot of grey hears :p lol yes i should probably just didnt start at all but at least i have learnd alot more from this Emotional Rollercoaster
If some smart people out there have an solution just tell me what info you need and i do my best to provide it, so far this is the Win of the car and the basic info on the Ecu :
Hi people I'm new to this eeprom stuff have done a read from vw beetle cluster to pull the immo code. I have the dump file but looking for information where to pull or find the immo code. 2004 1.6
Is it possible to swap the engine OM642.826 7G from ML 2013 to GLS 2017 9G(dead engine also OM642.826). My concern is that engine from ML do not have cylinder pressure sensor.
Is it possible to reprogram ECU(remove sensor readings?) in GLS so can install engine from ML which do not have those sensors in the engine head?
Hi, I have a 2006 sterling 9500 with CAT C7 engine. Its having issues were its loosing power when i accelerate. Causing the truck to jerk. Im suspecting its an accelerator pedal but my question is. What kind of software is out there which i can use to diagnose my truck. I have CAT SIS 2021 but it only has data on the engine not other components since its a Sterling truck. Is there software out there specifically for diagnosing Sterling Trucks?
I have the airbag autoliv 603450100 (51722687) with eprom 95160 from lancia Y with the fault internal error!
The car isn't crashed, I need remove error because i have in the check airbag error
Thanks
Recently a customer of ours lost all his keys on his 2012 Porsche Cayenne S. We have several programmers on hand but at a glance it seemed that Autel would be able to program keys without a fuss. More research should have been done but what I've realized is that Autel IM608 and its complementary programmer XP400Pro aren't the best at it.
While I managed to backup the D-flash, Autel wiped off my P-flash. Some say that XP400 doesn't do that, I'll never know because I won't use Autel in the future with this BCM.
In hindsight, it could have still worked had I not backed up the P-flash. Normally you only need the D-flash file and once you copy it then you can do your keys via OBD with the IM608.
So Autel IM608 might do it but I have more confidence in VVDI-prog/VVDI2 from Xhorse. The steps with VVDI are pretty straightforward. I didn't use the solderless adapter, I soldered the wires. Below are the steps:
Once you desolder the zero ohm resistor, the diode and cut the trace on the pcb between the quartz and MCU, connect your wires and select Read/Write/Unlock. You must select the option without adapter. Read your D-flash and save it. You'll want to verify the file, so hit verify (at the top menu), if all ok, you can put the BCM together.
You will connect your VVDI2 key programmer via USB to your computer. Select "Porsche" and load your file that you saved previously. Check and select an empty key slot, usually two keys are programmed, you select emply slot/key3. Now put your key in the programmer's slot and kit "Make dealer key". Save that file in your computer, name it "dealer key3" or something like that; you'll need that to learn the key (s).
You have to options now, you can learn the key via the programmer or via OBD2. I did it via OBD2.
Connect your BCM to your car and VVDI2 key programmer via OBD2 connector. Your laptop is connected with the programmer via the USB cable. Hit the brake pedal a few times and push the hazard lights switch on to wake up the CAN network.
IMPORTANT: if you turn your hazard lights on but you can't see your two blinking arrows in the instrument cluster your BCM isn't communicating with the vehicle. Most likely your P-flash is corrupt or BCM damaged.
In the programmer at the top hit "Learn key". It will ask you to load your file, now select "dealer key3" that you just saved. Hit "learn key" again, at the bottom of the screen it will say "learning key", after a few seconds it will prompt you to insert key 1 (your key to be programmed) in the ignition and turn ignition on. If successful, the lights on the dash will turn on.
If you have a second key, remove the programmed key and insert your second key. Same process, turn ignition to on position (lights on dash won't turn on at this stage), once key is programmed the lights on the dash will turn on. Wait for the programmer to finish learning your key. Once the keys are learned, check it the car starts and if remote lock/unlock functions work.
If you cannot read your D-flash, because it says chip is crypted, you'll have to unlock the chip. My D-flash was already read by Autel so I didn't have to do it but I had to unlock the chip in order to write the P-flash that I found online. I had to use "force unlock" with the VVDI-prog.
If you need to unlock your MCU, select "Force unlock", the option without the solderless adapter if you're soldering the wires. If you use the solderless adapter make sure your alignment is dead on. Once it unlocks your chip, it will say decrypt 7D location. That's the memory location that you have to use to lock the chip again once your done reading/writing.
Hit "Read ID" with top menu button. If it reads numbers and letters, your chip is unlocked and you can proceed reading/writing. If it reads FEEE, your chip is locked. If you want to read and make a copy of your D-flash, make sure your D-flash button is pressed not the P-flash. The D-flash should be pressed by default. Verify your file and save the D-flash. Autel damaged my P-flash when I tried to read it, so I wouldn't read the P-flash since you only need the D-flash to program keys. If you clone your BCM then both P and D flash files are needed.
Now that you have a good copy of your D-flash file, hit "Lock" at the top menu. It will ask what memory location, enter 7D. Once locked, read ID, if it reads "FEEE" that means it's locked. From here you can proceed and learn your keys with VVDI2.
I hope I didn't mix anything up, this is how I remember it. Good luck.
Oh yeah, thanks and rep will show that this helped some of you.
I am looking to see if anyone has a Parameter file for 4K0941592A. The current parameter file is for the US as such I cant enable Matrix headlights, I have both ODIS and VCTool but am struggling to get the right files as I don’t have a donor vin. When I look up the part number I end up with a lot of Q7 files. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Bonjour, j’aurai besoin d’une âme charitable pour modifier le pin de la calculatrice EDC17C10. J’ai besoin du code PIN codé qui provient du calculateur EDC17C60 dans le calculateur EDC17C10. Merci
I have Chevrolate Caprice 2008 / Similar to pontiac G8 Just replaced a radio. Now message Theft protection Active. Any one have DPS Unlock files ? Or Anyone can do it Remotely?
Note I tried to do it using SPS Techline but still Locked
Hi I have been having issues with the keys not being detected and not locking/unlocking the car plus the comfort access not working
I changed battery in fob and car blocked the previous remote changes a handle that was throwing codes, made a new key which end up not working like the other ones. The keys only starts the car when next to the steering column
Ista doesn't show any error for the cas module and also tried bimmerlink and it shows a permanent error on the cas module d90d1e; an issue with the fbd receiver1?
Do you know where it is located on an f10?
Thanks
Hello everyone, by mistake I blocked the ecu of a doblo 1.6mjet edc17c49. for I had to write a file and by mistake I wrote the file of another control unit (always double but different) the writing started but a few moments later it stopped (if I remember correctly with a protected sector error or something similar) and now it is no longer possible to write the ori file. However, the car starts without problems. the error which is now password unlock error. the instrument is a kt200II May 2024 update. I worked at the bench but after the error I also tried booting but with no results. In boot I recover the password with a special tool then when I try to read or write I get the password error and it sends me to use the tool to recover it, but I've already done it... in desktop mode I can still read but not write... can anyone help me? how can I recover the ecu? I attach the two files.
hi, i have here a Maserati Airbag ecu 670009490 Bosch 0285012264 with a Sattelite Airbag Problem B009A.
All cables and sensors was changed but the dtc cant delete.
I search for test a clean eeprom file for this unit.
Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Scanmatik 2 clone. Every ECU I connect in bench mode is not identified, and I get a "failure" message.
I assumed the issue was with my SM2, so I borrowed one from a friend (also a clone version), and not only did I get the same error, but his SM2 also stopped working, even on his own computer.
I suspect the problem came from installing the drivers or PCM Flash software incorrectly, which might be damaging the SM2 units. I searched for information and found a YouTube video of someone flashing the firmware with ST-Link. However, when I try to read the microcontroller (STM32F105), I get a memory protection error and can't read it.
Has anyone experienced this issue, or can someone help me read the microcontroller at least?
Thanks!
Hello
if anyone has some time to check out stage 1 and the mappack I made. When I have some time, I try to do something myself, please point out any mistakes I've made.
Cześć,
jeśli ktoś ma chwilę, aby sprawdzić etap 1 i mappack, który zrobiłem. Kiedy mam chwilę, staram się zrobić coś sam, proszę wskażcie mi wszelkie błędy, które popełniłem.
I know this topic has been posted a dime a dozen, but I haven't found any firm answers as to which would be the best investment.
I currently own a Master Dimsport NewGenius and many other flashers (PCM Flash - Bitbox for other work) but would like to upgrade from the old firmware device NewGenius.
What would you recommend? I am steering towards the Autotuner just because it has some better options that would help me for tuning vehicles (Logging and Dyno mode enable) but Flex seems to offer more in-depth technical work such as virginizing and cloning (Which I never do).
What are your experiences? All feedback I hear about AT is their customer service is the worst. Dimsports is like dealing with remote hobbyists that haven't helped me much in the past with bricked ECUs due to wrong Checksum and no way of recovery.
Does MMS tool stop like the Bflash if subscription isn't paid or is it similar to Dimsport where it will only enable you to have support up to the last update protocol list?
