Hi, I have a question about knock sensors. The engine is an M43B19. The car jerks when accelerating but I can't feel the ignition drop out. There are two errors in the ECU: knock sensor 1 and 2 signal. When they are cleared and the car runs again for a while they appear again. I doubt they are faulty because they both report the error at the same time so it's more likely to be something in the engine. Could be something with the timing and that's why the ignition occurs too soon? Should I start by checking the timing or look in the ignition system?
I have (working) HU55 from W217 and need to power it up on bench.
I usually use CAN- simulator for start up and testing HU5 and HU55 on bench.
But this one is not starting up. In car it starts up normally.
Are there any units what need more signals to start up except can-simulator?
Any ideas?
I have a need to do remote fob coding on my Jaguar S-Type 2001 model. JLR SDD reverts to Legacy IDS which works great, but my VCX Diag interface does not allow me to complete the process. It seems its a J1850PWM/Ford SCP databus issue.
The IDS requests to break the DLC connection and then connect the Ford VMM. Obviously I do not possess, nor am I interested in spending money on a single use tool for 1 remote
GoDiag has a cable GD101 that supports J1850PWM and J1850VPW programming that looks to be the ticket. Will this act as a VMM and bypass that check on IDS? Or is there a clever way of getting around that check to continue coding? This cable I can always use for other things and not only my ancient Jag
Alternatively, if someone has a bench mode/diy/module hack way of learning a fob, please share...
Hello, I have an 2010 vw Amarok 2.0 biTDI. It rattles like an box of nuts and bolts in a washing machine. Timing is spot on. Maybe it is tuned and the start of injection is way to early. I have VCDS, can anyone tell me how to check if my cars has been tuned, if not I will pull the head to check the head gasket. Thank you!!

On a Audi A3 8P 2011, the key is not recognized. I tried an immo off but car stays in safe mode (no windows).
I ve bought a new key but i need the pin code. I ve extracted one from the ECU (EDC16u34) but this code do not works on VCDS.
Do you know how I can proceed ?
