Hello, I would like some advice on the media system in my Mercedes E250 - C207. From the factory it was equipped with Audio 50 APS and a 5" screen.
What I would like to do would be to replace the unit with one that has a magazine for 6 DVDs and a PCMCIA card slot, that is, a COMAND NTG 4 unit and the large 7" screen, I will also put the codes below if there is something to compare.
After this modification, I would like to add a smartbox from China that would allow me to have carplay and android auto, in this way, I would get the connectivity I need but I would also keep the original appearance of the car.
I considered installing a 10.25" android system, but the appearance is not really to my taste and as the components in these tablets are not really the best... I avoided them in order not to have very long boot times and disconnections from the phone.
The whole operation will cost around 600 euros, how do you see this way of approaching the situation?
For me, the most important thing is Carplay, but I don't want to give up the original audio system for a moment, and last but not least, the appearance and the fact that the smarbox from China is promoted with a very fast Linux system.
I already have the mmi interface in the armrest, so things won't be complicated for me, everything will be plug and play with small settings in engineering mode, the only unknown is the fact that I don't know if I will get the anti-theft code for the unit.
Could there be something else besides moving the region that will be done during the reset? The maps from NTG 4 are old anyway, so I don't bother with them... I will update them in tru 2018, but they will not be used.
Do you think I will need other updates / coding / components? at the moment I don't know the software version that is on the unit, but I don't think this aspect is a problem either.

I know there was the same topic before but there is no fix for that I have 3 regulators and all of them got same fault code pressure on idle on hp pump 254bar Test done on xentry please maybe some one know what may be the issue.

Error code P0190 or specifically DTC 019064.
Symptoms: When the vehicle is warm, it starts to stutter and loses power. Railpressure stucks at 5.5 bar
The high-pressure pump, high-pressure sensor in the rail, and tank pump with filter have already been replaced without any change in symptoms.
Attached are a few screenshots of the live parameters. As long as the vehicle is cold, the error does not occur and the rail pressure is within the desired range. Once the vehicle warms up, there comes a point where the rail pressure becomes static, as if the control unit has failed, stuck exactly at 5.5 bar.

I have been got a siemens RNS 510 part nuber 1Z0 035 680A on Skoda Orctavia MY2011. Working perfectly before can bus failure. it has been show limit sign on the map. I bought second hand one. part nunmber 1T0 035 680A. It is calling Columbus RNS 510 Continental. But not show speed sign. siemens rns510 has got "show speed limit" option on setup menu. but continental has not

How to install VCDS in the PC
a. Please download VCDS software from the link given in the attached txt file or from the official website.
b. Turn off antivirus such as AVG, McAfee, etc.
c. Disable Windows Defender
d. Block vcds on the firewall (PC firewall is not turned off).
Installation Guide:
1. Install VCDS-Release-24.7.1-Installer.exe Step by Step.
2. After installation was successful, please do not run the vcds
software and delete the shortcuts for the computer desktop VCDS version.
3. Install program VIIPlusLoader 08.025.10 once downloaded which will create the shortcut (VIIPlusLoader) to your desktop.
4. Connect the cable to the USB port on the laptop/PC.
5. Run VIIPlusLoader by clicking on the desktop shortcut. Click on Start
VCDS from the Loader screen. When connected for the first time, the
cable firmware will get updated.
5. Close all vcds software, plug cable in your car, and again run
VIIPlusLoader, click on Start VCDS from the loader screen and you can
now proceed further.
