I bought a Mercedes R350Cdi 224 hp with the OM642.950 engine. It's been recently serviced, including an oil change with filter, air filter, fuel filter, and glow plugs replaced with brand-name products.
The transmission oil was changed at Mercedes about 4 months ago.
The car drives smoothly and shifts smoothly.
My problem:
Sporadically, not after every engine start, there's a slight jerking noise when accelerating gently. However, the jerking doesn't make the entire body shake; rather, I notice it as the driver when accelerating. If I give it more gas, I get over the jerking (or at least that's how it feels), and everything's basically back to normal. This usually lasts for about 10 seconds, then it's fine again. The problem occurs whether the car is cold or warm.
At idle, everything is normal (no jerking or rpm fluctuations).
I'm trying to swap ECU on ML400 CDI. It's Temic ECU with 5P80 eeprom.
On EDC15 I always just swaped eeproms between original and donor ECUs.
Is it OK to do same thing on Temic or I can brick the ECU?
We sold an engine DJKD 1.4 TSI 96kW. Unfortunately, the customer found out that the cylinder head is different, and that their original engine has an additional oil pressure sensor (see photo). The engine codes match, but despite that, there is this physical difference. It seems that there are engines produced until 8/2019 and others produced after that date. Our engine is newer and does not have this sensor. Is it possible to solve this somehow via software? Maybe by flashing the control unit? Thank you.
ive been searching the forum for an actual answer but not able to find a good response
i have genuine pcmflash currently module 50 and 71
is this capable of downgrading software version to pre-dieselgate?
if not then what can i buy that isnt a £1k+ that is capable of it?
i read some say VCP can do it, and some say old versions of ODIS E can do it but there is no mention of which version?
Hello, I have a Citroen Berlingo II 2008 BSI SIMENS 965799380 with error P0605 speed value incorrect, speedometer does not work. It looks like BSI has already been replaced and the coding shows the ABS multiplexing option as inactive. I can't change telecoding because I get the error bad telecoding. I only have the Launch interface which previously dealt with BSI without a problem. Is there a chance to change this parameter "abs multiplexing" in the eeprom manually? In this model speed value is sended via CAN from ABS to BSI, as I undersand.

I hope and guess it’s a problem because with immo. Car starts and after one second engine cut off. on display no problem for immobilizer. I still hope it’s just the immobilizer
