I bought a VW Touareg 7P 2011 year and I noticed the right headlight doesnt switch the highbeam. I removed the front bumper, check wiring, fuses, everithing looks fine. I checked the 14 pin connector for the headlighs on the 11 pin comes control of the shutter solenoids from BCM module. After that I noticed that the 11 pin position of the right headlight connector is empy. Also checked the wirings in the headlight and i can't see the wiring to this pin.
I checked in Elsa, there is no other type of bixenon headlights with different wiring diagrams.

Today had a mercedes w212 with the fault P172a00 Direct Select Lever has a malfunction.
When happens no gear selection possible, only after off/on can car start working normally.
Customer said the the problem happens since 2 years but very sporadically, the last month it happens more often and and sometimes it takes to much attempts off/on to start working.
Is this common?
I saw on google that alot of people having this issue on these year model.
I have a S Max 2012 keyless in the workshop. The car came to me with no crank no start, not possible to put the ignition on.
The steering wheel can be turned, so ESL is in the unlocked position.
The customer stated that this happened after the battery was flat, or he thought so.
First scan fault codes:
RFA:
B100C:11 Column Lock Supply Permission
B10C2:00 RL Unlock pull switch
B10C2:24 RL Unlock Pull switch
B10C4:00 RR Unlock Pull switch
U3000:49 Control module
U3003:16 Battery voltage
BCM2:
U0214:00 Lost communication with the RFA module.
Now I have deleted fault codes, in RFA module PIDs there are 2 key programmed. The clutch switch and brake switch are working, also when I press the start button the PID goes from off to on.
But the ignition still can't be turned on and ESL is still in open position.
I have tested the wiring from the RFA module to the ESL, seems to be ok 0.2 ohm on 3 wires that go from the RFA module to ESL. The ground on ESL is also fine.
I can only scan the car with Launch, Forscan or IDS will not find the VIN( maybe there is a workaround for this I don't know).
I need some help to understand how this system works, so I can figure out why I can turn the ignition on.
Any help is appreciated.

I want to warn you about the posibilty of a malfunction of diesel BMW Mini Engines (B37 B47 B57)
I make diagnostic check my daily car everyweek for potential faults and routine checks and I saw a fault on DDE
Fault code 26CF00 Fuel Presupply Control - Pressure low
There is no any symptom and problem on the car, no any alert on dash,I have checked sensors and sockets and I saw diesel in sensor sockets!
If I had not see this, my DDE could have been damaged due to diesel leaking and this fault absolutely nightmare.
Don't check your car when getting fault, check before potential faults and be aware common problems.

I have a 2021 Q5. I romeved the engine and transmission to work on it. Am replacing the transmission now and I forget hwo to attache the emergency neutral cable (same as in the picture below)
I can see a piece of metal that is spring loaded on the transmission but this circular disc certainly does not fit into it.
Am I missing a part here or just not seeing how it attaches

I'm trying to read an EDC17C69 from a Stelvio 2018, but I had no success right now
1st attempt. KTAG 7.020 and suite 2.23 P733 FAL EDC17C69 GPT with BOOT pin=> Check cables
2nd attempt. KTAG 7.020 and suite 2.23 P655 FAL EDC17C69 TPROT11 with BOOT pin=> Compressed backup read but no way to extract micro and eeoprom files 3rd attempt. AMT BST last version software 3.1.3.5 HW ver. 1.01.07 clone BENCH MODE =>Tricore TC1793 Found ECU Rev. 1 Unsupported TPROT Error code: 00 03 7F 80 33 35 4th attempt. AMT BST last version software 3.1.3.5 HW ver. 1.01.07 clone BOOT MODE => No Micro Found. Maybe incorrect Micro? 5th attempt. AMT BST last version software 3.1.3.5 HW ver. 1.01.07 clone PASSWORD TPROT => Password successfully read but even with the password saved retrying BOOT and BENCH I obtain the same results
What I can try? And now that I have the password what I can do? Something to the KTAG encrypted file? I don't think so
