I’ve built a simple tool that automatically patches launch control and no-lift-shift features into ME7 ECU files. It’s a small GUI app that takes your .bin and .ecu files, applies the patch, and gives you a clean output with all the variable locations for tuning.
Right now, I’m looking for a few testers to try it out and give some feedback before I do a full release. If you’ve got experience with ME7 tuning and want to give it a spin, let me know.
The patch includes a custom launch control routine with tunable ignition retard, ignition retard RPM threshold, launch RPM, no-lift-shift RPM, and a hard cut rev limiter. It also checks for engine coolant temperature and vehicle speed to control when the launch logic activates. The no-lift-shift only runs while the clutch is pressed, and the lambda routine is disabled during both launch and NLS. It’s built to be safe, clean, and tunable.
Note: The .bin file you use must be a clean, unmodified original — no prior launch control or custom code already applied. This ensures the patch installs correctly and avoids conflicts.
There’s a basic license system in place. When you run the app for the first time, it’ll generate a license_request.txt. Send that to me and I’ll send back a license.txt to unlock the tool.
The zip folder includes the executable and a background image (launch_bg.png) — you can swap out the image with anything you like to give it a custom look.
If you’re interested in testing it, download from the link and post your license_request.xtx here and I will make a the first few people a license. It’s free to test — just looking to make sure everything works across different files and setups.

2018 BMW X6. Original HU dead. Black screen, not responsive.
Replaced HU with used unit. Think same part number, but not sure.
Programmed and coded, got rid of antitheft code and others.
Radio, bluetooth, everything, all operational. Only thing is navigation, it is grayed out.
I understand that it needs FSC injected. Problem, I never got hang of esys.
Would appreciate if anybody could remote and inject FSC to activate navigation on replacement HU.

I have a few issues. Recently I have swapped engine from OM651 to OM642 in W204 2012.
1) AC compressor in OM642 engine doesn't have an electromagnetic clutch unlike OM651. So, after a few minutes the DTC (Open clutch circuit) appears in front sam, immediately disabling the AC. Where can I change the type of clutch in front sam codings?
2) I have swapped all connected by keys and vin parts of car, such like: transmission, ESL, EIS, ECU except of IC which was taught in to these swapped parts. After that the only DTC which appears is U0155 (CAN communication with IC has a malfunction). Everything works fine except of choosing transmission mode. I can only select S and M mode but in coding I have enabled C and A mode too.
Renault Fluence ZE, I replace the PEB module with a used one.
The old PEB module was burned, and can be read only the EEProm 95256 by remove it from PEB.
I just reprogramming VIN by modify the EEProm 95256 on the used module, but it have immo lock.
The "new" PEB module activate 12V DCDC charger, active all other service in car, but not go in "GO", motor not go in traction.
In PEB module I have only error DTC 103896 "Inverter module".
Can someone help me to reprogramming or copy immo?
Once again 4 or 5 of my active threads with working links have been deleted and yes I know they reserve the right to delete any posts for whatever reason without letting you know.
But one of mine was just an information post and had no copyright material attached to it as all and was causing no harm.
Very interesting that with 1000's of posts with no working links and the author not even being active on the board anymore still littering up all the forums the posts that do get deleted are from an active member supporting the forum and helping other members and no communication!
Seems odd to me but what do I know I am just an active member trying to help but feel I might as well go back to anonymity where I came from.
Are all C209_ZGW compatible? I have a customer outside the US that is sending me the dump to clone. His original is 209_545_33_08 and I have a 209_545_19_08 on hand. Both are C209_ZGW boards.
